Behavioral Health Hospital for Children to Celebrate Grand Opening (06/07/2022)
Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital for Children & Teens, an Acadia Healthcare facility based in Chicago, celebrated its grand opening June 8, 2022. Slated to open July 5, 2022, the new, 60-bed children’s hospital will offer inpatient and outpatient treatment for children ages 5-12 and adolescents ages 13-17 who are struggling with behavioral health disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. This facility is one of three that will operate under the Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital name. Others set to open in 2023 include an adult inpatient facility and an outpatient treatment center.

The opening of the new adult facility allows Montrose Behavioral Health Hospital to address the lack of bed availability in the community and expand access to age-appropriate behavioral healthcare.
